SmartLync™ Interface
Card
A
communications link connects the
SmartLync Cards to a PC via an
RS-485 multi-drop network.
Commands and responses are all
funneled through the PC in a
master-slave relationship.
However, with the SmartLync
system, it is now possible to
send unsolicited event messages
to the PC from any SmartLync
Card. This approach
completely eliminates polling
techniques that plagues older
RS-485.

Interface Card

SmartLync Dyno! This
card has the interface
versatility of the original
SmartLync card, but is
supercharged to meet your
increased processing needs.
This card has the Freescale
ColdFire 5206
microprocessor, along with
an onboard Altera FPGA and
real time clock to provide
